The ideal greetings card is one that is geared towards the recipient in one way or another. The obvious type is one for youngsters which includes their age on the card, and perhaps fluffy bunnies for a little girl - that sort of thing. Even for adults you can refer to a theme which is close to the recipient's heart, whether it be pets, horse riding, snooker, or perhaps a sport such as football or tennis.
There are also of course a large number of humorous cards available, and usually one of these makes a good choice although you cannot necessarily know if the recipient's sense of humour is similar to yours.
